The Extension Unit works with a Control Unit (CCSD‑CU or CCSD‑CURD) to provide additional power for the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System. It enables system expansion to support up to 245 Discussion Devices, with each unit powering up to 85 additional devices (CCSD‑DS or CCSD‑DL).
