The Medium-area Infrared System with PoE is designed for commercial applications, offering reliable audio transmission and enhanced flexibility for various environments. This system includes an IR T2 infrared transmitter, which can be remotely controlled via RS-232 commands, allowing users to power the unit on or off, set the IR frequency (2.3/2.8 or 3.3/3.8), mute outgoing audio, control back panel LED indicators, and access troubleshooting features. A comprehensive list of commands is available in the IR T2 Programmer’s Guide.

Equipped with two WIR RX22-4N receivers, this system ensures clear audio reception for multiple users. Two HED 027 headphones and an NKL 001 neckloop are also included, providing versatility for different listening preferences.

For convenient charging, the system features a CHG 3502 two-bay body-pack charger, along with two BAT 026-2 NiMH rechargeable batteries to keep your devices powered and ready for use.

The included POE KT1 remote power kit enables the IR T2 transmitter to be powered over Ethernet, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional power outlets. The kit comprises WCA 131 for wiring directly to a power supply and does not include WCA 132, which is meant for wiring to a switch.

To facilitate mounting, the system comes with a BKT 024 mounting bracket and an IDP 008 ADA wall plaque for compliance with accessibility standards. A TFP 057 power supply is also included to ensure reliable operation.

Overall, the Medium-area Infrared System with PoE combines performance and convenience, making it an ideal choice for environments requiring robust audio solutions.
