The receivers are distributed to meeting participants so they may select and listen to their language of choice. Depending on needs, receivers can have 4, 8, 16, 32, or 40 channels, for up to 39 languages. Both rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and disposable batteries can be used. The receiver is equipped with a channel selector, volume control, power switch, 3.5mm stereo earphone jack, and charging circuit on the PCB.
